Aleksandra Ivanovic Serbia
Aleksandra Ivanović was born in Belgrade and showed an early and versatile talent for music. After learning piano and jazz singing, he continued his guitar studies at the Belgrade Academy and graduated
basic and Master studies with Suma cum Laude. He is the winner of several national and international competitions such as “Naissus Guitar Fest”, “International Guitar Festival Leskovac”, and “Guitar Art Summer Fest”, and he is also the winner of the prestigious scholarship of the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia. She started performing at an early age and had successful performances in the “Progres” gallery, the “Vuk Karadžić” Cultural Center, the Yugoslav Drama Theater and the Music Academy in Belgrade. She also improved her skills at numerous master classes of prominent pedagogues such as Aniello Desiderio, Scot Tennant, Dušan Bogdanović and many others. Critics and the audience noticed her delicate performance, especially the new works of Vojislav Ivanović, which led to the formation of the guitar duo Levante. Her most significant performance was with the orchestra Camerata Serbica under the direction of Bojan Suđić as a soloist in Poems of E.A.Po and the premiere performance of the double concert Concerto di Mare Nostrum, and the entire concert was filmed by RTS television. She recently started cooperation with the innovative, educational platform Guitar by Masters, which brings together world-famous guitarists and composers, recording the children’s suite Royal Life and two new suites by V. Ivanovic. Aleksandra is a senior assistant in the guitar course at the UIS Music Academy.
